Can I get tickets at the door?

The organizers are not planning to sell tickets at the door because they need advance numbers in order to have the right amount of food etc. However, there is a good chance they will still sell tickets on the moring of Monday Dec. 7 at school.

There are now two more ways to get your tickets for No Impact Man.

1) Buy tickets during Parent-Teacher Interviews: Leave your name and a cheque in the Co-chairs box in the Hawthorne office. Your tickets will be available at the door on Monday.

2) Send you name and how many tickets you need to Liz Haines. You can then pay for them at the door on Monday.

Just saw the movie. Sound in that room was so so — missed about 50% of what was said. But the movie makes important points in a simple way. Bravo!

Also, yeah for Rosario singing! That was fun. And the food and the folks were fiiine!

In the movie, Majora Carter gets a short moment, walking through the Bronx, describing the health effects of pollution on the folks, mainly children, in the poor neighbourhood. Check out her 20-minute TED talk on ecological urban renewal.

Stong stuff!
